I was asked if I could make some cupcakes for a very special 2 year old’s birthday. Of course I immediately said yes. When I enquired about the cake they were having, they said they thought just cup cakes would do. No No No! Not when I am here.

So I set about making a “Bluey Birthday Cake” 

Not knowing anything about Bluey (Oh my, did you know Bluey was a girl!) I delved into the internet to find colours and images. I knew what the task at hand was.

I created a Vanilla Butter cake in our Thermomix. Recipe is from the Recipe Community and filled the cake with yummy Strawberry Jam and Cream. Xavier’s favourite thing. Next I paired it with a basic blue buttercream and sprinkles. 

The family were very happy with the results as were the guests. As for Xavier – He loved his Bluey Cake!
