My beautiful boy tuned 32 today. I remember his birth like it was yesterday. Born early through emergency C-Section. We were warned he could have side effects from the delivery process. Did he? NOTHING except perfection – well to me he is.

He and his beautiful wife Gina are due any day to have his their child – a little girl to love and cherish.

A cake was in order for this special day and what would be any occasion for Daniel albeit Easter, Christmas or just about any time – Kinder Surprise was called for. So, a kinder surprise cake was needed to be made.

Chocolate Cake

Something I had not yet made, as vanilla was the go to cake.

Well I knew exactly which recipe I wanted. ThermoBliss – Chocolate cake. It was gooey and chocolatey and tasted amazing so everyone said. I layered whipped cream inside and the outside was a salted caramel buttercream.
