If there’s one thing that keeps me grounded during the week, it’s having a rough meal plan in place. And when I say rough, I mean weekday dinners only — because let’s be honest, weekends are a whole different vibe. Doing Weight Watchers WW – I need to be accountable, and this helps me so much!!
I’ve now written two full weeks of meal plans, and it’s been such a game changer for me. Not just for staying on track with Weight Watchers, but for saving time, mental energy, and those dreaded “what’s for dinner?” conversations at 5:47pm.
Why I Only Plan Weekdays
Weekdays are busy. Like, blink-and-it’s-dinner-time busy. Between work, life, and everything in between, decision fatigue is real. Planning meals Monday to Friday means:
- Less stress
- Fewer takeaway temptations
- Better food choices
- And a lot more calm at the end of the day
Weekends? I don’t plan them. At all.
I choose balance, WW-friendly options, and a bit of flexibility. Mostly 😏
What My Weekly Meal Plans Look Like
My weekday meal plans are:
- Weight Watchers friendly
- Family-approved
- Thermomix-friendly (of course)
- Simple, filling, and realistic
No fancy ingredients. No all-day cooking marathons. Just meals that fit into real life and still feel good to eat.
Some weeks are better than others — and that’s okay. Progress over perfection has become my motto.
Fish Seasoning
- 1 Tbsp – Light Brown Sugar
- 2 Tbsp – Steak Seasoning
Mix it together – and place on top of the fish and bake. You can spray lightly with oil but remember to point the oil.
- WW App & WW Book – they are also on their website.
- Anna’s Website – Feed Me Healthy – just search the recipe – it will come up
The Bigger Picture
For me, meal planning isn’t about restriction. It’s about supporting Chris & myself during the busiest part of the week so I can relax a little more on the weekend without guilt.
Planning ahead gives me structure when I need it most, and freedom when I want it. And honestly? That balance is what makes it sustainable.
I’ll be sharing my weekly plans here as I go — not because they’re perfect, but because they’re doable, and that’s what really matters.
If you’re juggling a busy schedule and trying to eat well without overthinking it, I hope this helps you feel a little less alone… and maybe inspires you to plan just one week ahead too 💛
Our go-to choice is the Steggles Wholemeal & Quinoa Chicken Breast Tenderloins. We’ve tried plenty of alternatives, but found the points and nutritional values were often unclear. These are simple, satisfying, and made from pure chicken. They may not look large, but don’t be fooled — they’re incredibly filling and a reliable WW-friendly option we keep coming back to. I have found I can only get them at Costco.
