Any recipe that Anna has created is amazing to me and this Italian Rice Bake is no different.
Once again – my Thermomix had to come into it and this is super super easy this way.
Anna's Beef & Rice Bake

- 500 gms Heart Smart Beef Mince
- 1 Brown Onion
- 2 Garlic Cloves
- 1 Cup Arborio Rice
- 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar
- 3 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- 400 gms Diced Tomatoes
- 2 tbsp Tomato Paste
- 2 tsp Italian Mixed Herbs
- 1 cup Beef Stock
- 1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
Instructions
- Add Garlic & OnionsPut on lid with MC Cup4 Seconds | Speed 52 Garlic Cloves, 1 Brown Onion
- Scrape down the bowlAdd Beef (broken up)Put on lid and Simmer Basket5 mins | Varoma | REVERSE | Speed STIR500 gms Heart Smart Beef Mince
- Preheat Oven to 180 degrees
- Add tomatoes, rice, vinegar, tomato paste, herbs and stockPut on lid and Simmer Basket (This does splatter)Give mixture a good stir with the spatula15 mins | 100 degrees | REVERSE | Speed 21 Cup Arborio Rice, 2 tbsp Balsamic Vinegar, 400 gms Diced Tomatoes, 2 tbsp Tomato Paste, 2 tsp Italian Mixed Herbs, 1 cup Beef Stock, 3 tbsp Worcestershire Sauce
- Transfer to a dish, top with Mozzarella Cover with foil and bake for 35 minsUncover and then bake for another 10 mins1 cup Mozzarella Cheese
