I’m pleasantly surprised by my progress in Meal Planning for May. There are a couple of factors contributing to this:
Firstly, I recently received my 5kg loss chip at my WW Meeting last Wednesday and it has really motivated me to stay on track and continue seeing results. Despite my current back issue, (I get sciatica) which has limited my mobility, I am really motivated to do more! However, this setback actually provided me with an opportunity to plan ahead.
For this month, I’ve revisited some favourite recipes from last month and I’m exploring more recipes from the WW Website, intending to adapt some for Thermomix to streamline my cooking process.
Additionally, I’m benefiting from a freezer stash of leftovers from previous cooking sessions, which come in handy for nights when we are too busy with work to cook. These used to be our takeaway nights. Now – much healthier, quicker and cheaper!
I’ve also embraced the concept of Meat-Free Monday in my planning, seeking alternative sources of protein beyond meat to diversify my meals.
