Creating your own almond meal with a Thermomix is a fantastic way to enjoy fresh, preservative-free almond meal in your recipes. Here’s a straightforward guide on how to make almond meal using your Thermomix:

Ingredients/Tools:

  • 250 grams of almonds
  • Thermomix

Instructions:

1. Prepare the Almonds:

  • Begin by measuring out 250 grams of almonds. It’s best to use raw, unsalted almonds for this process.

2. Place Almonds in the Thermomix Bowl:

  • Carefully add the measured almonds to the Thermomix bowl.

3. Secure the Lid and Measuring Cup:

  • Place the lid onto the Thermomix bowl, ensuring it is securely locked in place. Additionally, put the measuring cup (MC) on top of the lid.

4. Blend the Almonds:

  • Set your Thermomix to operate at Speed 7 for 10 seconds. During this time, the almonds will be finely ground into almond meal.

5. Transfer and Store:

  • Once the blending is complete, transfer the freshly ground almond meal into a clean, airtight jar, or container. Almond meal can be stored for up to 1 month at room temperature. If you want to extend its shelf life further, consider refrigerating or freezing it. Properly stored almond meal can often last even longer.
