Anna’s Easy Choc Chip Almond Slice



This slice is just so "gimme more" 💚

After our Zoom session on Friday 01-04-22 with Anna Van Dyken from Feed Me Healthy people are dying to try Anna's amazing slice.

This recipe was exclusive to Zoom participants and subscribers ONLY but we thought it was too good not to share.

Easy Choc Chip Almond Slice – The Thermomix Way

  • Thermomix
  • 200 gms Roasted Almonds
  • 50 gms Oats
  • 1 tsp Cinnamon Powder
  • Pinch Sea Salt
  • 1 tbsp Almond Butter (recipe below)
  • 3 tbsp Coconut Oil – THE SOLID ONE – Not liquid
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 tsp Vanilla Paste
  • 3 tbsp MINI Chic Chips (Available at Coles)
  1. Add Roasted Almonds to TM Bowl and place on lid and MC

    6 seconds | Speed 5 – Scrape sides

  2. Add Oats, Cinnamon, Salt

    5 Seconds | REVERSE | Speed 4 – Scrape sides

  3. Add Almond Butter, Coconut Oil, Honey & Vanilla Paste

    6 Seconds | REVERSE – Speed 5 – Scrape sides

  4. Add Choc Chips

    20 Seconds | REVERSE | Speed 2

  5. Empty contents into a lined baking tray and press the slice into place. You may need to apply pressure. If it sticks to your hands, wet them a little.
  6. Place into the fridge and allow to set for at least 30 minutes. Slice as required.

For gluten free option, replace Oats with Gluten Free Weetbix

Snack

Almond Butter

  • 200 gms Roasted Almonds
  • 1 tbsp Olive Oil (Optional)
  1. Place Roast Almond into TM Bowl and place lid on bowl with MC

    Blend 1 minute | Speed 9 – Scrape down the sides

  2. Blend 30 second | Speed 6

    Repeat until you are happy with the desired consistency

  3. Transfer to a jar and store in the fridge

NOTE: You may notice that the bowl starts to heat up during the blending process due to the friction. Don’t worry about it. This helps to achieve a smooth paste.

If using just almonds (not roasted) add 1tbsp Olive Oil
