Sauteed Onions - Chopped
- Thermomix
- 20 mls Olive Oil
- 200-300 gms Brown Onions
Chopped Version

Cut the onion into four pieces to make it easier to handle.

Place the onion pieces in the Thermomix bowl.

5 seconds | Speed 5
Sautéing the Onions

Place 20 ml olive oil in the Thermomix bowl.

Put the lid in place and put the splash guard to prevent any splattering during sautéing.

Sauteed Onions - Cutter Version
- Thermomix
- 20 mls Olive Oil
- 200-300 gms Brown Onions
Cutter Version

Insert the cutter attachment with the dark grey (slate) side facing up. The dark grey side is typically used for slicing.

On the modes panel, select “Thick Slices.” The grey mode is for grating, while the slate mode is for slicing.

Place the onion in the Thermomix with the cutter attachment in place.

Let the Thermomix slice the onion into uniform pieces.

Sauteed Onions - Manual Slicing
- Thermomix
- 20 mls Olive Oil
- 200-300 gms Brown Onions
Chopped Version

Slice the onion into even, thin slices. You can use a knife or a mandolin slicer for this.
