Swedish Meatballs in a Thermomix

Anna’s Recipe Converted to Thermomix

Anna’s Swedish Meatballs are absolutely delectable—one of the tastiest I’ve ever had.

Book 1 – 50% weight loss | 100% Healthier – P148 or her website. What’s even better is that I prepared them using our Thermomix.

While the meatballs were cooking, I utilized the Thermomix to steam my vegetables. A combination of potatoes, pumpkin, homegrown cabbage, and corn. The result was perfection on a plate.

My love for owning a second Thermomix bowl is precisely why I love when Thermomix have the 2nd bowl deal (they have one now ending 31-11-2023 just in time for Christmas). I tell so many people to wait for this deal if they can.

I kept the gravy warm in the first bowl (or jug if no second bowl) while cooking the meatballs, and proceeded with my second bowl cooking the vegetables. Everything concluded at the perfect time.

Varoma Steamed Vegetables

When it comes to steaming my vegetables, the Thermomix is no exception. I always opt to pre-steam my roast vegetables, not only to achieve that extra crunch but also because it significantly speeds up the cooking process.

As everyone knows, we love Anna Van Dyken's Healthy cooking and I love both her books. The first "50% weight Lost | 100% healthier" is my 'true love'. It captivates everything Anna. This recipe is one of my favourites and better still, we can make it in our Thermomix.
