Low WW Point Snacks – Sweet & Savoury

Low WW point snacks – sweet & savoury.

One of the greatest perks of WW (Weight Watchers) is its inclusive approach to food. There are no forbidden items on the menu. Snacking isn’t confined to just “rabbit food”; it’s about finding balance.

My late-night snack cravings are notorious—I crave something crunchy and savoury. I used to stand in the kitchen, staring into the pantry or fridge, pondering what to eat. However, armed with a list of ‘point-friendly’ options, the decision-making process has become much simpler.

My snack cupboard is meticulously organised by points, (yes that’s me) making it easy to grab the right choice at any given time. Sure, there are occasional “GIVE ME CHOCOLATE” moments, but they’re rare. I’ve always been the type to make a block of chocolate last for weeks, only having a piece or two at a time. However, if my family found it, it would vanish in an instant! Sweet treats aren’t really my weakness. But give me a bag of potato chips, grain waves, Bhuja Mix, or something similar, and I’ll devour it in one go. That craving still persists, even now.

My husband Chris is a godsend when it comes to shopping (a task I dread unless it’s online). He navigates the aisles with the WW App on his phone, scanning products to find what fits my plan and what doesn’t. He’s a lifesaver during my 10 pm snack emergencies.

Below is a list of items typically found in my pantry or fridge, which I’ll keep updating as I discover new worthwhile products. We also consider the price of items because, while it’s great to have something point-friendly, it’s not worth it if it breaks the bank.

New items will be at the top when updated – don’t want you scrolling forever 🙂

09-11-24 – new additions – thanks Nicola for the reminder

French Fries Original

If there’s one chip that gets me every time, it’s these! I’ve been told I eat them in a funny way—one at a time—but it lets me savour the flavour and makes them last longer. So crunchy and salty!

3 Points per 15g – trust me thats a lot

McVities Digestives MINI

Sometimes at night, I need a little something sweet, and these are perfect—they hit the spot without racking up the points!

3 Points per half packet
7 Points for the whole packet

Noshu - DK Choc, Orange & Roasted Almond Bar

These were bought by mistake, but what a fantastic mistake! I didn’t expect to enjoy them this much—they’re absolutely delicious!

4 Points per bar

Wylers Light Drink Sachets - Peach

I love water, but sometimes I just want something different. These are amazing—sweet and tangy with no sugar, and you’d never know there’s a sweetener! My favorite flavor is Peach, but Pink Lemonade, Raspberry, Grape, and Island Punch are all delicious too. I get them on Amazon—always waiting for a sale! 1 sachet – 1 litre.

Sunbite Crackers - Sea Salt

Salt Crunch, Salt Crunch—my weakness! These are super tasty and satisfyingly crunchy. A 25g serving is just the right amount to hit that craving spot.

3 Points per 25g
4 Points per 25g for other flavours

Uncle Tobys - Plus Cereal

I’m not usually a big fan of cereal—sure, I like Weetbix, but that’s about it. But when Chris brought home a new one, I just had to go out and buy all the flavors. They’re delicious! At 40g per serving, you get a nice, full bowl. Highly recommended!

4 Points per 40g
5 Points per 40g for the nut one.

Noshu - Indulgence - Peanut and Caramel Nougat

OH DEAR! This is dangerous. It is like eating a cross between a Picnic & a Summer Roll. OMG So so good. I got these at Woolworths AU

3 Points per bar

Noshu - Chewy Cookie - Raspberry & Cheesecake

OK Noshu is now my go to – this tastes just like Subways Cookie. Be careful, its delicious. Woolworths AU

3 Points

Damora Rice Cracker Snacks

These we get from Aldi, not the standard supermarket. One bag for 2 points is great and there is a lot in the bag.

2 Points per bag

Grain Waves - Sour Cream & Chives

A big bag would easily have been a nightly eat for me. No second glances. These individual bags have 8 grain waves and some nights that is all that is needed. I get these either from major supermarket.

2 Points per bag (8 chips)

Harvest Snaps

Once again – salt salt salt – no I don’t have high blood pressure – low in fact, but these are super crunchy and tasty.

2 Points

Sunsol - any flavour

These were recommended by Anna Van Dyken and OMG was she right. They taste like a chocolate bar. Be aware, they can be tough on the teeth, so I break my pieces off. The chocolate on there is brilliant. Highly HIGHLY recommended. Not the cheapest around but worth every cent. Only available at Woolworths – not Coles.

3 Points

Anna's Brownie Bliss Balls

These are incredibly Sweet, Rich & Fudgy just like Chocolate Brownies but in Bliss Ball form. Quick and Easy.

For Thermomix Users – put all ingredients into TM bowl – 15 seconds | Speed 6 – make the balls.

Sakata - Original

These are my go to for REALLY salty and crunchy. I pair it with a Lite Laughing Cow Cheese Triangle (1P) and I feel like I am having a party all by myself. I usually have 8 biscuits & 2 triangles. 4 points for all that.

1 point for 4

Medjool Dates

I was told early on that these dates would be important in my WW journey. No they won’t – Not for me – now – I love them. Be mindful of how many you eat. Although Zero points it is still about portion control. I sometimes team it up with peanut/almond butter. (remember that must be pointed) Trust me – Yum!

Off the Eaten Path

Would I have tried these by choice? No. Chris bought them and they are great. Salty and crunchy. Perfect.

1 Points for 8 pieces

Anna's Chocolate Almond Slice

Thermomix & Conventional: Sweet Treats  Anna’s Book 2 Page 166. Perfect for when those sweet cravings hit. Crunchy, chocolaty, and utterly divine!

This recipe was released to the public so everyone can make this.

3 Points per piece

Table of Plenty - Mini Rice Cakes

These are great grab bag snacks. 4 rice cakes in a packet. I love the Caramel White Chocolate ones, however they have Milk Choc, Dark Choc & Strawberry flavours. Make your choice. Great with a cup of tea of a night time.

3 Points

Table of Plenty - Air Popped Mini Rice Cakes

Another reason for salty flavours. They are mini rice cakes and tasty.  I personally love the Cheddar Cheese ones. They taste like Doritos. The salt and vinegar are nice for a change.

2 Points

Muscle Nation Protein Bars

These are readily available in our house. They are great if you are on a GIVE ME SOMETHING SWEET or needing a meal replacement on the go. Chris usually has one for lunch when working in the garden or out on the road and can’t stop. I get them when on sale at major supermarkets or MUSCLE NATION WEBSITE – if I can buy them at around $2.50 – $3.00 each, I buy them otherwise I go to the website and always look for a discount code.

Thank you so much, Nicola! I do love my late-night snacks… maybe a little *too* much sometimes. This really helps me (and others) get through those nightly cravings! 🤣 I’m glad you found it helpful, and I actually have a few more tips to add—your comment has inspired me to update the post. Thanks again!
