Fakeaway at it's best
Fish & Chips are my favourite takeaway - but made in our Thermomix for it is crunchy and tasty is my dream.
I was sick of gooey fish coating on my oven baked fish and those from the supermarket are full of nasties. Crunchy - yes. Tasty - Yes. Fattening - YES!
I decided to make up my own that was low in calories and fat. This whole meal was only 6 Personal Points on Weight Watchers. Super crunchy & super tasty. Now my go to fakeaway!

3. Then onto breadcrumbs. Gently press crumbs onto fish and place onto baking tray with baking paper.

Chips/Wedges

Grab another baking tray and line it with baking paper for the chips
-
Peel potatoes. (If you have a peeler for your TM, use that).
Slice into wedges and dry potatoes
-
Place Olive Oil into TM Bowl.
Season with salt & pepper. You can add anything that you would like to coat. I used onion powder tonight.

Place on baking tray and put into oven for 10 mins.
When timer goes off, add fish to the oven and bake for another 20 mins. (see notes)
If making just fish - Bake for about 16 to 20 min. The time in the oven depends on thickness, so adjust for very thin or very thick fish fillets.
