Old Fashioned Tuna Patties by Anna

I’ve been a fan of Anna Van Dyken’s tuna patties ever since I first tried them. But, as anyone who knows me can attest, when it comes to convenience, it has to be Thermomix all the way. So, I took the liberty (she always knows of course) of converting her recipe to a Thermomix version for a quick and effortless meal.

Honey Joy's in a Thermomix

Who doesn’t love Honey Joys!

Last night I was sitting there having a cup of tea and felt like something sweet. The Thermomix made it SO EASY! With our Thermomix® it was the bowl (that cleaned itself) a knife that cut the butter, and a spoon that filled the patty pans.

Thermomix AMAZING Fruit Cake

Fruit cake? I used to think “no thanks”… until Stephen dropped by with a few slices of his freshly baked one.

I asked Stephen if I could share this little treasure with you all, and he kindly agreed — as long as his lovely mum stays the proud owner of the recipe.

Well, here I am again… kicking off 2026 by heading back to WW! Why WW? Because I actually get it. I know so many of the points without even looking and, honestly, it just works for me. I’ve put on a bit of weight lately and I’m not loving it — so 2026 is going to be MY year in more ways than one.

And hey, why not start a little early? Tonight’s dinner was a simple, super satisfying salad for just 7 points. The protein surprised me though!
	•	Ingham Chicken Chippees – 50g: 4 points
	•	Wholemeal & Quinoa Chicken Tenders (Costco) – 100g: 3 points

So tasty, so filling… and such an easy way to ease back into it!

Here we are, ten years on, celebrating my 60th with our gorgeous friends Sue and Roby at The Atlantic on Southbank. The food was incredible, the company even better, and honestly… it was filled with laughter.

We wandered down to The Left Bank for dessert afterwards and wow, that was an experience all on its own — let’s just say the giggles and comments definitely continued.

My heart is full. What a beautiful night with beautiful friends. A huge, heartfelt thank you to Chris for organising it all — you absolute wonderful husband. ♥️
